We are pleased to announce that Franzi Schroder has joined AheadMG as our new Head of Change Management. This is our first dedicated senior leadership team appointment in this role and an important step in strengthening how we support clients through complex, large-scale transformation.
As AheadMG continues to grow, so does demand from clients for strategic, change leadership. Firms across wealth management, insurance, and the wider financial services industry are under sustained pressure to modernise operating models, comply with regulatory change, and scale complex platform environments at pace. Furthermore, they need to stay nimble to an ever-evolving and competitive market. This appointment reflects our commitment to strengthening our capabilities in fully outsourced change leadership alongside our long-established strengths in test and delivery, platform change, and strategic consultancy.
Originally from Southern Africa, Franzi brings first-hand experience of a fast-growing wealth and financial services market that continues to attract investment and innovation. Her understanding of the regulatory, operational and change challenges within this environment aligns closely with AheadMG’s plans to increase its focus on high growth regions, including South Africa, as the advisory market there continues to scale rapidly.
Franzi is a highly experienced change and programme leader with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-visibility and value transformation initiatives within large, multinational organisations. She brings deep expertise across both business and technology change, particularly in regulated environments where governance, delivery discipline, and stakeholder confidence are critical.
Most recently, Franzi held a senior change and programme leadership role at Catalina Re, where she led various cyber security and IT transformation programmes. Her work focused on strengthening governance, improving operational resilience, and embedding sustainable change across the organisation. Prior to this, she spent several years at Quilter, delivering large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes spanning digital transformation, process automation, and the migration of complex legacy platforms.
Across her career, Franzi has led multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams through demanding transformation programmes, building trust with senior stakeholders and providing calm, pragmatic leadership in high-pressure environments. She is known for balancing strong structure with delivery momentum, ensuring programmes are not only well designed, but executed in a way that stands up to operational and regulatory scrutiny.
The decision to establish a permanent Head of Change Management role reflects how our client engagements are evolving. As programmes increase in scale and complexity, successful outcomes depend as much on effective change leadership as they do on technology expertise. This role strengthens our ability to support clients through the full change lifecycle, ensuring strategy, delivery, and adoption remain tightly aligned.

In this role, Franzi will lead AheadMG’s change management vertical, working closely with Partner, Paul Noone, our clients and internal teams to ensure transformation programmes are well structured, well governed, and delivered with precision. She will also play a key role in the continued development of AheadMG’s service offering, supporting clients across more of the change lifecycle, from strategy through to delivery and optimisation.
